Molly and I spent an afternoon taking some photos to see if we can do her Senior Portraits for next year. This is our practice year and basically we are having a blast. She is such a good sport and so photogenic. In the Rochester area there are so many great locations for us to chose from it's so hard to narrow it down.

Elston
One of my favorite places to go on a Monday afternoon is Mt. Hope Cemetery. Today I was lucky enough to find this little dude in the bottom of a mausoleum. I named him Elston after the building in which he lived. He was very bold and obviously beautiful!

Birder
What can I say? Envious!? Drooling? Wow! Look at all the "stuff". And...he is dressed so nice.
Me, it's shorts, an old t-shirt and my little Canon. I love Birders. I love how diverse we all are and yet we feel such a connection and can spend hours in the park talking. I love these kindred spirits and I thank them for getting me through the toughest of times.

Perfection: As Is...
In just a blue kerchief around his neck, this regal Bernese Mountain dog was holding court under his master's table. I just love a dog in his natural coat and in his familiar surroundings! Don't you think animals are at their best this way?

Quiet Spectacle
I was sitting on the lawn listening to a musician at the Park Avenue fest. This sweet girl, looking so pensive, was perched atop her father shoulders as they walked down Park Avenue. I felt so fortunate to have captured her.
Park Avenue Reflection
"The Bubble Man", who is a staple at Rochester area festivals, was doing his thing at the Park Avenue fest. Here a bubble reflects the houses across the street on this gorgeous summer day.
Purple Joy
Oh my gosh - this child's hair was the first thing that caught my attention. Fantastic curls!!! She was not at all concerned that it was in her eyes, either. In fact, she was so fascinated by the "Bubble Man" at the Park Avenue Fest that she didn't even notice me taking her picture.
